In a move to boost up the connectivity and to ensure a smooth ride for commuters, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Noida authority have set the stage for metro to roll out to Greater Noida. The two have recently signed an MOU for the same. Metro connectivity in Noida got a big push recently clearing a major route--a 6.7km stretch from City Centre to Sector 62. The City CentreSector 62 link is a Rs 1,816 crore project. The link expected to be complete by 2017.
For the City Centre-Sector 62 line, UP gov ernment and Centre will share the cost on an 80-20 basis. The City Centre to Sector-62 line will offer connectivity to sectors 32, 34, 35, Hoshiarpur, sectors 51, 52, 71, Greater Noida Extension Marg, Sarfabad, sectors 60, 61, 62, 63 and NH 24. The work for the construction of the same is likely to begin by in next couple of months.
The work for the two metro extensions from City Centre to Noida Sector 62 and Greater Noida and is likely to be completed by 2017.
The Sector 62 link which touches the NH-24 is also expected to have an impact in the property in Indirapuram as this like will vitally connect Indirapuram and will provide the residents with an option to use the metro
